About me and my music software "RMCA Pro" ...
Thank you very much for your interest in RMCA Pro, the other MIDI programs and these web pages.
Since my early youth I have loved to play guitar and to deal with audio engineering. Later, programming was added. Until I finished my school education and university studies, I played in various bands, but when I started my professional life, I was no longer able to do so in terms of time. Therefore I was looking for a solution to realize the concept of "playing along" all by myself and started to develop a software that provides me with the "band background" (drums, bass, keyboards, guitars, strings, horns, pads etc.) in good sound quality to which I can improvise alone "for hours" with my electric-guitars or with a keyboard.
The result was RMCA Pro !
Until today I use this software with much more than 10.000 different styles almost daily and especially use the possibilities of RMCA Pro's "Style-Playlist" with its search and filter options.
The sound output of the styles and songs is done via "LoopMIDI" to a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation), through which the electric guitar is also connected with a number of effects. The result is an almost "studio-ready" overall sound, which is appropriately enriched via various VST plug-ins. With this "setup" most of my own instrumental tracks published on this website have been recorded - each in "one piece". Please activate your headphone or earbuds!
Here are some short examples:
Extremely helpful in this was RMCA Pro's "chord preview function", which shows every upcoming chord change up to 3/4 of a bar in advance on the screen, so that you can prepare for it in time (s. video 3). This option allows improvising or accompanying completely unknown musical material. RMCA Pro independently determines the chord progressions according to corresponding specifications and existing musical requirements and, if desired, also mixes so-called "Common chord progressions", so that interesting variations of known chord progressions are created.
As a user of the software, thanks to the "chord preview function", you can prepare yourself in good time for "what's coming" and adapt your solo playing accordingly. It is therefore no problem to solo to completely unknown chord progressions. At least not, if certain musical requirements, such as maintaining the key, are observed, which of course the program does and which it thus also "demands" of the user. As far as the sound and the flow of a "take" is concerned, RMCA Pro controls not only the chord progressions and repetitions, but also the recording of "fill ins", intros, main and alternate parts, etc., i.e. it determines the entire structure, which also affects drums, bass and keyboards in particular. In this way, if necessary, countless combinations are created that are directly "playable".
Finally, I would like to expressly apologize for any linguistic and/or grammatical errors on these web pages. "English" is not my native language, so it cannot be excluded that wrong references are made, expressions are used incorrectly or terms do not fit to described facts. In spite of everything I hope that it has always become clear what was meant.
Thank you for your understanding and ...
many thanks for your attention !
